If you wish to be added, put your character's most commonly used name in a reply. I don't do images.
Freya
I don't know what I would have done with myself if you had been hurt.
I put you at risk, but please -- please, don't ever do that again.
In one sentence:
'I need you around.'
Robin-B228
We've gotten a bit closer - we feed into each other in the field, and operate on a level akin to myself and Jacob. I couldn't stand to lose another SPARTAN under my command, and I don't think she realizes that. I don't think you're incapable, sister, and I trust your abilities - but it's my duty to make sure you're safe.
I failed that, before, and Jacob and I died for it - I wasn't prepared enough, and I didn't fight hard enough. I'll get you and everyone else home - come hell or high water.
In one sentence:
'Forever forwards, sister.'
Pawn 3333
I've seen her around since then. Perhaps, as they say, rumors of her death were greatly exaggerated - in my own mind. I'm glad she's still around, frankly - we will need her skill in the coming days. I should speak to her, when I see her next.
In one sentence:
'Long time, no see. Got a smoke?'
'Sohlar'
I don't... know how to explain it. Frankly, the words escape me. But, she's an incredibly good friend and an asset - dare I say, one of my fireteam. She cares for me, I think, in the more 'human' way everyone else seems to, as well.
In one sentence:
'If nothing else, I value her companionship in these times.'
'Bulletstorm'
That comment about medals is... seeming a lot more real, now. Fuck. You were one of the people I trusted, and now you're gone. I don't even know what to feel - regret? The fact I wasn't there might just be the reason you died. Like everything else, this goes back to my absence. Even if I don't think I'll ever get the opporitunity to mourn you properly, Geoff, you'll always be a member of my fireteam.
Semper in pace, SPARTAN.
In one sentence:
'For his heroism and single-minded drive, a deserved rest.'
Alin Radacanu
A Romanian doctor-combat surgeon. More often than not, he's the reason I'm still walking around - the amount of times he and Horseman have had to heal my wounds after my battles is, frankly, a testament to their skills (or perhaps, the amount of time I find myself wounded). Thank you for being there, for the questions I can't really ask to anyone else, and for generally trying to understand.
In one sentence:
"Saved my life a lot more than you should have to, Alin."
'Staples'
She reminds me of us GAMMA's, in some sense, with her quick-to-anger and fearlessness. Unfortunately, she *isn't* a SPARTAN -- which means it often puts her into extremely dangerous situations that she can't necessarily fight her way out of. Regardless, I consider her a valuable asset and a good friend.
In one sentence:
"You did what I needed you to, risky or not. Thanks."
Braxton Wolffe
A classic Marine - the sort of man who can't live if he's not on a battlefield slinging lead. A warrior soul who wouldn't fit anywhere else. In a way, he's a kindred spirit to us SPARTAN's. If he is, he is an uncouth, unprofessional one at times. But, as I understand, that is how most soldiers and warriors become after a certain time on a battlefield.
In one sentence:
'Oorah, Marine - get you some.'
Felix Fortunae
He's helped me, like Freya has, to understand why normal people are the way they are. In a way, it's made me realize more and more why I like being a SPARTAN. He's nice, though, and a valuable ally in combat. I trust my back to him, and I'd put my life in his hands as a brother in arms. He reminds me of the ONI Field Operations types I had to deal with from time to time - except for his generally more amiable, less standoffish personality.
In one sentence:
'SPARTAN-Human relations liaison, as I think Freya might put it. Heh.'
'Armistead'
Something about his tone reminded me of home. At the very least, he's got the 'commanding and charismatic officer' down pat. I'd assume prior military experience, given how he follows the sound of battle and his over-all combat effectiveness, but I can't be certain of that. Either way, I've made a promise to the people here that now extends to him, even as a newcomer - I'll get you all out safely.
In one sentence:
'I aim to impress, sir.'
'Ogg'
He might not be necessarily capable on his own, mentally speaking. A form of retardation or, perhaps, a generally low intelligence quotient for his sub-species of human has plagued him. That being said, I don't mind, and actively enjoy his company -- he tends to be very friendly and talkative, but steadfast and resolute in combat, when needed -- if a bit of a blunt instrument.
In one sentence:
'Others might hate you for your disability, but I don't.'
'Pandora'
Huh. I mean, considering all things, it's not the weirdest thing I've fought. Still, I've never actually fought against a purely mechanical opponent before. All things considered, I would say that our spar was an overall strategic victory, even despite dying in the process. Roughly equivalent in power to a SPARTAN-III, if I had to gauge her actual combat capability - but in different ways. Her strength and speed are limited by her -- body? Chassis? Superstructure? But her mind can clearly move just as fast, if not faster, than my own. Given the right training and adapting to a militaristic environment, she would stand a fair chance of fitting into a SPARTAN fireteam.
In one sentence:
'Watching your growth with curiosity.'
Horsemen
20th century field medic gets dropped into the multiverse, you'd expect him to be more out of his element than us - but he's adapted to this place as if it was his home in the first place. In a way, that is an incredible act in-and-of-itself. But the amount of good, and lives he has saved in this place, from everything? He helps pull us all together.
In one sentence:
'If I can be of service, you need but ask.'
'Jackson'
A good guy, honestly. He's one of those I'd trust in battle, like Felix. Pretty capable in a fight, and I'd rather have him at my side than some of the people, here. I'd like to figure out how his jumpkit works and gain one for my own use - it'd increase combat effectiveness in SPI, but I doubt MJOLNIR could be propelled by it.
In one sentence:
'Mobile platform or ground combat element, I'll be there.'
Blyght
I really don't know. On one hand, he's an eldritch... being? Made out of souls, and who's 'souls' act as your main power. On the other, I've spoken to him as a person, and not found him that bad of a conversationalist -- outside of your fundamentalist moral views. His words, however, were ominous -- and give me substantial pause. He's a tough case, and I don't know if I'll ever fully get rid of my mild concern at your nature, but beggars can't be choosers in times like these.
In one sentence:
'In some sense, a walking contradiction, but a valuable asset.'
Royale
I haven't seen him in a month or more. I miss having his sense of direction and leadership, even if we disagreed. Every day is far harder to deal with without it.
In one sentence:
'Please, come back.'
Sergeant Baker
He's back around. Slowly, we seem to be rebuilding our numbers and gathering strength again. It gives me renewed hope in getting out of this place with everyone safe - but I know not to make promises I can't keep, now.
In one sentence:
'Welcome back to hell, Helljumper.'
Commander Kyle Reid
He thinks I'm up to the task of leadership, since his return. He's seen to it that I'm to retain my present position as CO of the detachment, and I respect his decision. Still, it nags at me that I've grown far too... emotional, to lead troops in this manner. Especially Freya, or Robin. Despite that, I'll complete it to the best of my abilities. Without a centralized group of heavy-hitters, we stand very little chance of getting out of this new test the Auditors cooked up.
In one sentence:
'I won't fail you, Reid. I can't.'
Crow Feathers
Hard to read, but safe to say, an ally at this time. I've heard her referred to as a 'Fext' and, though I have no clue what that means, it concerns me that she looks humanoid enough to be confused for a normal human - even by a SPARTAN. That being said, I've done my best to grow past my xenophobic tendencies, and being offered niceties and general friendliness has somewhat shifted my perspective.
In one sentence:
"If nothing else, I'll keep an eye on you."
Freya
I don't know what I would have done with myself if you had been hurt.
I put you at risk, but please -- please, don't ever do that again.

In one sentence:
"If nothing else, I'll keep an eye on you."
Frida
The day you threatened to fling yourself off the roof was the day I realized the instant I left, everyone I knew fell apart without me. Bulletstorm, the UNSC -- only Freya and Robin have been unaffected, but we're SPARTAN's. That's the way it works. Part of me wanted to write you off then and there - you had taken my hope to get you home, my objective and sole goal in the microchosm of one person - and cast it into doubt. Then, I realized it was my fault. I left you all without my aid. I won't do that again, even if you are broken beyond repair, now.
In one sentence:
'I'm so fucking sorry.'
Alistair Barclay
We don't talk enough to really gauge whether or not he's been damaged, any, but given his SPARTAN-like temperament, I like his chances. He's got his own determination and willpower that keeps his engine revving, and, like ours - trauma and hardship can't slow him down. If anything, I think, it'll push him harder.
In one sentence:
'We're going to need you more than ever.'
Corporal Mendez
The last time I saw her, she acted as if I had rebuffed her, and I didn't intend for that in any way. It seems like my lot in life to never fully understand the importance of the people around me until they're gone, but she was a good friend, when she was there. I think I miss you, Rita.
In one sentence:
'I'm sorry.'
'Beak' and 'Ika'
These kids have gone through thick and thin together. SPARTAN's in their own right. Beak's told me more about his history, and he's definitely real close to what I'd define as a SPARTAN. It isn't a term I throw around willy-nilly, mind - the UNSC can call all of the SPARTAN IV's SPARTAN's, it doesn't make them all to that level. Despite that, he's as close as a kid can get - a trainee, perhaps, in a sense.
Ika's unique - she's a ball of trauma and it shows in her confident persona and tendency to antisocial behavior. But Beak'll keep her safe, always. And if Beak views her as important enough to be concerned about, so do I.
In one sentence:
'In this place, all you have is each other -- don't forget that.'
Captain Stryder
Chatterbox 'humanized' her, from what Felix told me. She got soft, or lost interest, or lost drive. I don't really know. I'm not even entirely sure if she's not just broken on some level. I know I don't understand how she feels about losing Chatterbox, but if it's anything akin to what I've felt in similar situations, I could see how it could break someone with a connection to another person like that. I could see how it could break me, if someone that important were to disappear, too.
In one sentence:
'If you need me, ma'am.'
Viktor Glazkov
Alin's equipment bares a somewhat striking resemblance to Viktor's, but is more advanced and 'put together'. Viktor's equipment appears to be hand-made, or cobbled together from 'old-world' technology. I can only assume, then, that their universes are similar in general nature, with Viktor's universe having a 'worse' situation. Either way, Viktor's had my back in combat before, and I trust my back to him as an ally. He's a capable warrior, but I'm uncertain as to his capabilities as a soldier, given the lack of centralized command structure. In this case, I surmise I have to ask myself: 'does that matter, here?'
In one sentence:
'Respectable and dependable, where every man should be.'
Sergeant Campbell
Haven't seen him in a month and a half, easily. I didn't even know him all that well, but as a Marine and an NCO, he was among some of the better-disciplined members of this group. Shame, then, that he's gone MIA as well.
In one sentence:
'Another good soldier, gone.'
Boon Burner
Damn, you're a hard read. Getting a clear understanding of you is like trying to properly understand ONI's protocol booklet without seven years of training, and I still get confused. Half the time you're a genuine, somewhat solemn and tired man - the other half, you can be an asshole. Then again, so can I. Either way, you're not hostile, as I once assumed you to be -- though you certainly haven't limited the amount of scrutiny through some of your comments and actions. All the same, I think I could trust you at my back with a modicum of certainty that I'd walk out of the fight without getting blue-on-blued.
In one sentence:
'I respect you enough to not hold a grudge, at this point.'
Big Cheese
Textbook civilian, somewhat 'intermingled' into military affairs akin to a civilian consultant. In typical sense, I'm keeping my eyes on him for efforts to intervene on the 'official' business of HIGHCOM and Commander Reid. In a sense, however, a civil-minded businessman is an incredibly important piece of any functioning community, and will eventually be required, assuming we don't leave this place in due time. In his field, I have no doubt of his capability, but it leaves me more than a bit uncertain about his potential for meddling.
In one sentence:
'Leave our lane to us, and we'll leave your lane to you.'
'Milo'
More than meets the eye to him, from first glance and talking with him. I don't mind his ideology as much as I probably should, but given the circumstances, he seems... broken, in a lot of the same ways we all are. He fought with drive and determination when we came to blows, and nearly killed me - admittedly, thanks to my own lack of drive to finish the fight as quickly as I probably could have. Either way, I respect his capability -- just not his lack of discipline that seems somewhat evident in everyone here.
In one sentence:
"Why does everyone think I'm gay?"
