Despite the violent transition to this new and terrible hellscape, Vandal has been coping well with what has transpired on his end. Having come to terms with his situation he's dealt with a handful of situations well. Faring against a blob cat, a fish with multiple chainsaws the insanity the raw pure mind fuckery of it all would fell any man. Yet, Vandal was not just any man.

Born on the dying planet of Earth, Nash Vandal's first thoughts after finishing highschool was to enlist with the Earth Defence Force. He became a soldier within the EDF and was stationed in the outer systems for his first tour, putting down rebels and other scumbags that caused trouble in the depths of deep space.
Nash's team was eventually dispatched to deal with the cover up of the 2nd Aegis VII incident and the USG O'Bannon's destruction aswell. Though after this his contract expired and in 2508 he applied and joined the Titan Station Security Force aboard Titan Station - The Sprawl, which orbited the shard of Titan, a moon that was mined for everything.
During the events of Dead Space 2 Nash was fighting the necromorphs aboard Titan Station when he mysteriously vanished..
